Irish Carvings
Because of the love she has for her Irish roots, in 1999 she started to carve small Irish wall plaques and keepsake boxes. She started a wholesale business called “Blarney Girls.” Florence had her carvings reproduced in resin and has participated in trade shows from Baltimore to Chicago. Her resin reproductions can still be found in retail Irish shops. In 1999 her work was accepted in the prestigious “American Craft Council Show” at the Baltimore Civic Center.
Over the years since she started carving, she never stopped painting watercolors. In 2005, Florence gave up her studio and again devotes all her creative time to her first love………Watercolors!
