Society’s Less Fortunate
I saw this homeless man resting on the steps of an abandon hardware store on President Street in
Baltimore, MD. I thought about how he looked like he had given up hope. I felt the largeness
of the building as society and the man as someone who had slipped threw the cracks of life,
and he was less fortunate than most of society.
This painting was accepted in the AWS annual show in New York City, and was in their traveling exhibit.
It was also published in “Artist Magazine.”
